ACADEMIC WRITING – SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES (Candidates in the 1st and 2nd year of doctorate)

This two-day workshop is designed to improve the participants’ writing skills within the academic field. On the first day, the steps of the writing process – from first ideas to the finished text– are untangled and separately discussed. Participants are furthermore equipped with both a broad variety of helpful techniques and knowledge about the English academic writing style.

On the second day, each participant works on his/her current writing project and applies the newly acquired knowledge. There will be opportunity to ask questions, to make use of an individual consultation and to give and receive feedback.
