Dissertation Project

In my doctoral thesis “The Aramaean Ahiqar Composition in the Context of Egyptian and Biblical Wisdom Literature“ I interpret the Ahiqar composition as a multiculturally comprehensible wisdom text. For this matter I will try to outline the reception of this text within a corpus of literature that was known and used in Elephantine. The scope of my examination is to put the Ahiqar composition in the context of these literary findings.
