The Berliner Theologische Zeitschrift (BThZ) is an internationally oriented journal for theology and the academic study of religion with a peer-review process. It is published annually by De Gruyter Brill as a thematic volume.
Contributions may be submitted only upon personal invitation by the Editorial Board. Please refrain from submitting unsolicited manuscripts. No honoraria are paid.

The most recent BThZ volume was published in 2025 under the thematic title "Anwaltschaft zwischen Solidarität und hegemonialer Praxis".
The BThZ includes a supplement that is published annually. It documents lectures from the Werner Reihlen Lectures at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which promote dialogue between theology and other academic disciplines.
